This program started to connect families with students in the MISD Gifted and Talented (GT) program to share information and experiences. Sponsored by the McKinney Gifted and Talented Alliance (MGTA) the intent of the interest form below is to gather information to match families with similar needs and interests. 21-22 GT/Advanced Teachers of the Month
Does your student have a GT/Advanced teacher who has left a lasting impression? We invite Gifted & Talented students currently enrolled in McKinney ISD to nominate one of your GT, Advanced, or AP teachers to win a free lunch courtesy of McKinney Gifted & Talented Alliance. A different teacher will be chosen each month and we will accept nominations throughout the school year.

Ms. Perry was nominated by students that wanted her recognized for her kindness and patience. What stood out was how many students mentioned her purposeful lesson plans. More than one student recognized her for real-world application in her lessons while improving the student's overall writing capability.
